FITZGERALD, GA - News release from Fitzgerald Church of God

The Fitzgerald Church of God is hosting the third annual Back-to-School Bash on Sunday, August 5, at 6 p.m.

Members of the congregation donated money to stuff book bags filled with school supplies to be given to church and community children, Pre-K—12th grade. In addition, various businesses in the community have also donated items.

The event will highlight area schools, including Ben Hill County, Irwin County, TiftArea Academy, and Wilcox County. 

The event will also feature the children and the youth departments as well as music provided by the FCOG Worship Team. 

Following a charge from Senior Pastor Dewain Joiner, the service will conclude with specific prayers for the children, youth, college students, teachers, and parents.  Immediately following the service, refreshments will be served.
